Kenneth Wyatt is a freelance photographer based in Woodland Park, Colorado, near the base of Pikes Peak. Although his passion is capturing images of nature and wildlife throughout Colorado and the western states, he also is an experienced photojournalist and corporate photographer.
Kenneth has taught nature, digital and travel photography, including Adobe Photoshop techniques, for several years and also leads photo tours throughout Colorado. He is much in demand as a speaker and has presented shows to several local, national and international audiences.
As a photojournalist, he also photographs sports and community events for his local weekly newspaper, the Ute Pass Courier. His feature photos and nature articles have won numerous awards - one on local wildflowers, winning first place in a statewide Colorado Press Association competition (1999). He won a statewide award from for "best photo essay" for an article on Eleven Mile Canyon (2001) and third place in the category "best news photo" of the Hayman Fire (2003). Kenneth has been published in several national and international nature and travel magazines, including The Nature Conservancy and Outdoor Photographer magazines.
His corporate photography credits include several well-known engineering firms and local companies. His articles and photos have been widely published in national and international magazines and journals.
Kenneth is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), the Colorado Press Association (CPA), the National Press Photographer's Association (NPPA), and the Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce.
